3 idiots
Watch the three idiotic engineering students as they pursue their dreams in a lunatic way. Rancho , who is the smartest among his co-idiotic friends, due to his passion for machines and devices studies for joy of it. Farhan is studying engineering to pursue his father's wishes over his own wish to become a wildlife photographer. Raju is studying to raise his family's fortunes. Things further escalate when the three friends, who are already drunk, break into Virus' house at night to allow Rancho to propose to Pia, and then urinate on a door inside the compound before running away. The next day, Virus threatens to expel Raju unless he squeals on Rancho. Not wanting to betray his friend or let down his family, Raju jumps out of the third floor window and ends up in a coma. Following his recovery, Raju takes an unexpected approach for an interview for a corporate job whilst Farhan decides to pursue his love of photography. The two friends succeed with their tasks and further enfuriates Virus.

Lucio Tan, one of the richest filipino entrepreneurs
Lucio Tan |
Lucio Tan, probably the most controversial of all the Filipino Tycoons, is the featured success story today. He was once the longest running richest man in the Philippines not until last year when his great rival retail tycoon Henry Sy overtook him in the throne.
Lucio Tan was born on July 17, 1934 in China’s Fujian province. His family moved to Philippines, in Naga, where he was a child. He worked his way through college studying Chemistry in Far Eastern University but quit before graduating, set up a business that deals with scrap in the late 1950s and and later on found a job in a tobacco factory where he was tasked to buy leaf tobacco in the Ilocos provinces.
Because of this experience, Lucio Tan started his own cigarette company named Fortune Tobacco in 1966. It was also during this time when his close friend Ferdinand Marcos was newly elected as President. The tobacco business was a success and it expanded introducing a budget brand ‘Hope’ in 1975. By year 1980, Fortune Tobacco was the Philippines’ largest cigarette manufacturer.

invention due to a necessity :|
he method of preserving food was invented when the Napoleonic wars raged in 1795. Napoleon's army was suffering more casualties from scurvy, malnutrition, and starvation than from enemy muskets. The French government offered a prize of 12,000 francs to anyone who could invent a method of preserving food.
Nicolas Appert, an obscure candy-maker, brewer, and baker took up the challenge. He had a theory that if fresh foods were put in airtight containers and sufficient heat applied, they would keep. After 14 years of experimentation, he won the prize. He packed his foods in bottles, corked them, and submerged them in boiling water.
